Hope Doulas

End-of-Life Doula Services.

Walking Beside You Through Life’s Final Transition

I offer a variety of in-person services or virtual services via phone, email, or Zoom. Clients may want or need only one service or all of them.

Emotional Support & Companionship (Virtual Option): Providing a non-judgmental “holding space” for fears, regrets, and hopes. Offering companionship in person or over the phone, text, email, or Zoom. Validating all emotions as normal responses to difficult situations. Listening and helping people speak openly about their end-of-life wishes.

Legacy Work (Virtual Option): Helping create memory books, audio and video recordings, or “remembrance projects” to honor the person’s life. Writing letters to loved ones. Reflecting with the dying individual about meaningful life experiences. Making safe space for stories and memories.

Respite Services (In-Person Only): Reducing caregiver burden, allowing family members to take breaks or simply “be” with their loved one rather than managing tasks. Sitting with the dying individual so family members can rest, shower, or take a walk. Assisting with practical tasks like preparing simple meals and light housework.

Vigil Support (In-Person Only): Offering a continuous physical presence during the “active dying” phase to ensure wishes are honored. Helping to create a peaceful environment. Guiding families on how to be present. Preparing the family for physical changes they might witness. Supporting meaningful rituals or ceremonies.

Bill Insurance: I do not take or bill insurance.

Make Decisions for Clients: I do not make decisions for clients, only support their decision-making process.

Replace Hospice Care: My services complement medical care but never replace it.

Legal/Financial Advice: I do not act as an attorney or financial planner.
